The roots of the business
can be traced back to 1922
when Tate of Leeds was
founded. It was this Company
who sold the first Ford car
in the north of England and
went on to hold the Ford
badge until 1998. The
Company then acted as agents
for Hyundai and Daihatsu for
a while before deciding to
specialise in the Accident
Repair industry where they
are today.
The current Company was
formed in January 2004 when
Richard Tate, the Managing
Director bought the business
off his Father, Tom Tate.
The current business employs
30 members of staff and
repairs 2,600 vehicles every
year.
Quality Assurance
We are members of two trade
associations, the MVRA and
the ABP Club. All of our
estimators and technicians
are trained to NVQ3 Level at
least and we are progressing
well towards achieving the
BSI Kitemark PAS125 standard
for vehicle repairers. All
of our work is guaranteed
for 3 years. |
