About Us
The roots of the business can be traced back to 1922 when Tate of Leeds was founded.
It was this Company who sold the first Ford car in the north of England and went on to hold the Ford badge until 1998. The Company then acted as agents for Hyundai and Daihatsu for a while before deciding to specialise in the Accident Repair industry where they are today
The current Company was formed in January 2004 when the Richard Tate, the Managing Director bought the business of his Father, Tom Tate. The current business employs 30 members of staff and repairs 2,600 vehicles every year. Richard Tate, who is an Accountant, runs the Customer facing side of the business with 2 key personnel.

Tony Bacon is the Accident Repair Centre Manager. (Image Below)
Tony comes with nearly 50 years experience in the industry, is a fully skilled panel beater by trade, with City & Guilds and Ford Accreditations. Tony was formerly Bodyshop Manager for Ringways Group and has been with Tate Accident Repair Centre for 11 years.

Paul Newbolt is the Reception and Transport Supervisor. (Image Below)
Paul comes with 40 years experience in the industry, is a fully skilled mechanic by trade, and has been with the Company all that time.
